Shopify or WooCommerce? We build both
They suit different businesses, so here’s how they compare.
Shopify
Shopify looks after the hosting, security and checkout for you, and most people can learn to run it in an afternoon.
Best for: growing businesses that want the platform looked after for them.

WooCommerce
WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so it suits businesses already using WordPress, or stores that need something Shopify can’t do. You host it yourself (or with us), so you control everything.
Best for: sites already on WordPress, and stores that need something different.

Shopify or WooCommerce: which is cheaper to run?
Shopify charges a monthly plan and looks after hosting and security for you. WooCommerce has no plan fee, but you pay for hosting and keep it updated. We’ll compare both for your store before you decide.
Can you move my existing store?
Usually, yes. Products, customers and order history can normally come across, and we set up redirects so your Google rankings follow.
Can I sell to stockists as well?
Yes. We can add a separate wholesale side for stockists and trade customers, like the one we built for Aston Lucas Gourmet.
Who loads the products?
We do, as part of the build. Send us a spreadsheet or your current store and we’ll take it from there.
